It's actually called open-handed. Left handed is where the whole drum set would be turned around. hi-hat and snare on left, floor tom on the right.

He's just a fucking kid here and he flat out rips. This is one of those videos that makes you motivated to play but also makes you realize how bad you suck.

@ScrantonicityII Yeah but most of time, from what I've seen, left-handers put the hi-hat on the other side and switch snare/toms accordingly.

That's weird, I noticed in all these videos he drums with his left hand on the hats and right on the snare, instead of crossing over, like every other drummer I've ever seen...
