...this was at the tail end of a 6 month Med Cruise with 30 days to go. Terrible man. I got a pic of him in my Navy stuff. BE CAREFUL ON THAT FLIGHT DECK PEOPLE!!!!

I had a buddy on the Nimitz back in the 80's who was a BrownShirt. He had 90 days left in his stint and was going home to get married. He had a baby on the way. You were suppose to be a "swivlehead" when you were on the deck so as to not get sucked up into an engine or walk into a turning T56 propellered engine. He bent down to pick up some FOD (foriegn object damage) and put himself into a turning propeller either on a COD or E2C. Chopped him up into 9 pieces. Kept him on ice till we got home..

@caddyking444 too bad the np2k is the worst thing the navy has ever bought, ever seen the blades after they come back from a simple flight in the rain??? 54460-1 will stay #1 in my heart.

its funny actually. i work for that squad now and that plane 650 is crashed in another hanger right now. and the E-2c all have 8 blades. the E-2d has only differences in according with radar issues.
