Saw a lot more Norfolk Southern trains than normal. Stayed out until 2:30am.

  • The westbound truck train on the south leg is a 23W, the empty hopper is probably a 591 or something.

  • @BenEpsilon Yup, we always hear it calling quarry and minnick, it's been the 1st train out of bmore 90% of the time. And yea. I think it was 591 if I remember correctly.

  • It seemed like quite a windy night. A lot of freight s going by, for sure.

  • @AnimalLoverCB yea, we had gusts of wind up to 50mph.

  • @UltimateRailfanner Yup, should be out of Baltimore at 9pm, 9:30pm at the latest.

  • I have to say, those first 3 lash ups were badass for a territory that usually sees nothing but catfish.
