Assistant minister Peter Kenneth is taking issue with the draft constitutions proposal on executive authority. Kenneth says Kenyans must be given the chance to elect a leader with executive powers instead of a ceremonial one. The Gatanga MP also called for an extension of the review period to give the public more time to read and understand it. Kenneth was speaking in North Eastern province during a tour of the area.

  • That s a wise person speaking.

  • I would not put my money on this thug by the name Peter Kenneth. Kenyans are really gullible and forget too quickly. Kenneth ran down Kenya RE. Let him explain to Kenyans what happened to the money from Kenya RE before trying to run for presidency.

  • mzeemoja...we are with you. Peter kenneth you have what kenyans are looking for. Please make a move and see how much goodwill kenyans can deliver.....away wih the non-sense people in place.YOU ARE MY CANDIDATE come 2012!!!!!! lets start this journey of hope in KENYA now. Peter Kenneth for president!!!!

  • I'm keeping an eye on this guy. Very decent indeed. his constituency is a model in itself, and he pays taxes. Peter Kenneth, you have my vote.

  • One of the best waheshimiwas in the horn of Africa... God bless you Mr Ken

  • peter kenneth the only other MP of the 2 that pay taxes and also the only of the few sensible MP in Kenya. If he keeps away from the company of Kutunny then Kenyans will take him serious.

  • The same happened in Mombasa and all other Cities/ Town in Kenya . It is all about bribing the councillors. At the end the councillors take position in the Council like Finance + Roads + Lights +Advertisment the positions their can benefits personaly thru corruption.

  • A good example is Nairobi Mayor....he doesn't care what the city residents want. He owes his his Office to 48 bribe taking Councillors not 5 Million Nairobians!

A rich/corrupt presidential candidate can easily buy all these 222 MPs by just promising Tax-Free salaries, a passat, extra wives plus Nolle Prosequi for all crimes committed!
