This year, all kindergarteners and 6th graders will be required to receive the chickenpox vaccine. While many parents will comply, many others in Washington will opt out of vaccines altogether.

  • The mother who doesnt try to vaccinate their kids and use hygene as a reason for not to is a total nut case. I got my kids done, one had a bad reaction to the vaccine and was given a different one from then on. Non egg based.

Just stupid to think you can send your kid to school without any protection to the virus's they do have vaccines for is just plain stupid and honestly you should have child welfare on your heels.

If you have medical provention within your means, use it.

  • People can get whooping cough more than once. In fact many adults get it several times withing their life. The symptoms tend to be less when one is an older child, or adult. They can have their darn whooping cough vaccine while those that know better avoids it.

  • Hang on Hang on Hang did the reporter just say the mother of that baby passed on whooping cough to her baby after being exposed to an unvaccinated child...but dont new borns get the vaccine for whooping cough so in theory how did the baby get it if vaccines are so amasing and 100% work lol. I may jst be misshearing what shes saying but that statement makes no sense. And wouldnt the mother have been vaccinated for whooping cough long before then anyway so how did she get it again?????
