I've listened to all the 'Manhattan' covers on YouTube and this one, along with the (very different) one by Mister, is my favourite! This singer actually seems to get, imho, that transition from the sinister to the loving ('I really like to...') and then the gradual slip back to mystery. But doesn't overdo it. Nice guitar too.
