I think they COMPLAIN about sh!t in jail because they "believe" that they are entitled to better treatment. In their distorted views on reality they actually believe that what they are doing is normal; it is actually the norm in their world; their socioeconomic trap. They believe the system is at fault for their situation; that you don't have to work hard and study to succeed in life. It's either become a rapper or sell drugs. I am strictly referring to criminals.

@Dahoohy24 read about profiling within the justice system. and read about the white patriarchy that mandates everything from how our prison systems are run to allocating funds to schools. after you offend once its not very easy to remove that label and move on. regardless of what crime was committed, inmates still deserve to be treated humanely and with respect. they are not in the american prison system, especially in cook county. - from an ex inmate
