Great song by a great artist.

Who's the genius telling people ON AN OPINION page, to STFU? Probably goes to the track and tells people not to gamble. Dumber than dirt.....What a great talent GH was. Tough to not be outshined by the likes of Lennon and McCartney, but I think he held his own.

You've made my day. This is my favourite George Harrison number. I still miss him.

George always made the best of his musicality, not the greatest singer technically but his passion and yearning always made up for it, Great guy

@LiveCrueltyFreeNow don't you agree? similar instrument and production choices (keyboard and horn heavy) - same bluesy song structure...good stuff :)

I'm a major Steely Dan fan... is that why I can't get enough of this album then ? :)

This guy knows what he's talking about. "33 & 1/3" is George's 'Best' in many ways.
John went Yoko, Paul went Linda & Ringo went Hollywood but George was always George. Great Post. Thans.

if steely dan were british, this is what they would sound like (though i bet george nailed his stuff in fewer takes than SD).a select few songwriters can blend so many styles - that to slap a label on it would seem to sell it short. obviously, george was a rock & roll player/writer - but that almost seems to simple a term for what he did. soulful, jazzy, hinting at broadway show tunes, rhythmic - a gifted guitar player who did not simply see songs as vehicles for solos. thanks for posting this!
