  • I have recently gotten interested in a RC Booster again. I had one and sold it the next day because I wanted something else, but now I think I might need it. What do you think? I heard you say that you were pleased with the clean tone of it or something. Do you think it's good?

  • @cosmogang I think it's one of the best boosters out there, if you want a clean boost in your rig, or if you need a solo boost. The RC and the v1 Fulltone Fatboost are the best I've tried.

  • I was just wondering how in the hell these guys afford all these boxes, man what an array of major coolness! I thought I had a wicked pedal board. My head would explode trying to decide which ones to use...

  • @CarvinTone hehe We don't! Well, at least for me personally, you buy a ton of pedals used, try them all out against each other, keep the one you like, and then sell the rest. And if you were careful when you bought them, you may actually end up making a couple bucks. :-)

  • I prefer the Fat Boost 3 in front of my OD followed by the high gains I use. This gives you the best options. Warning about stacking boxes, putting an OD after the higher gain will completey change the dynamics of the gain box. I for one do not like it. I dropped the VIsual Sound J&H for that reason. The Satchurator with either the OCD in front or the Fat Boost 3 brings it on. I really dig that Fat Boost, best unknown in the realm. And it is not really an OD kids.

  • @CarvinTone Very good info. Thanks! Ya, definitely a different animal depending on where in the chain you stack things. Makes for some great fun! Cheers!

  • @Passenger95 Thanks man!

  • @29396 Gotcha. Ya, now the Timmy stacked with a Zendrive would probably be great. There isn't much a Timmy doesn't stack well with. Cheers!

  • @Passenger95

OK, I was kinda going for a nigel hendroff kinda tone, like on the Creative training 01 dvd. He uses a timmy and joyride there.

  • @29396 It's alright...but usually boosts sound better for stacking with either of those pedals. Like the SHO, Fatboost, or RC. :-)
