This client had a pretty ugly green counter as the base of their entertainment centre in the living room. She had just put in a new slate tile feature wall around the fireplace that runs up the middle of the room to the ceiling and wanted to compliment that, without the counters "taking over" the focal point of the room. She selected an almost perfect match to the slate colour of the tiles and complimented that colour with a "Brownstone" faux granite application, finished with a "Satin" gloss clear coat that would protect and provide functionality, without stealing the show in the room. Turned out great!
