42"545. PERFECT MUSHROOM! 41'xxx might actually be possible after all =O

Honestly, this was a bad race. I've done the first 80% (bridge checkpoint) 0"5sec faster many times. It's always the cave that ruins runs. It's. So. Lucky. ARgghhh.

I nailed it this time, end = pwn. Chances are you've never seen a perfect shroom. Srsly, look at it. It's perfect. Tell me it isn't. You can't, because it is!! :)

Previous lap record, 42'6 (v=BOaIhAwmrxI), did the cave in ~5.2s. The 2'14"9 3lap WR does it in 5.0, 5.0 and 4.9. I did it in 4.6. That's a lot, and my cave entry wasn't even good. It can probably be done in 4.4. That adds up to 2 seconds overall!

And that is why this course sucks for time trials. Doing what I just showed you is very hard, very risky, and very random. For the flap record you wouldn't mind taking risks, but for 3lap...? Just imagine doing this 3 laps in a row...


About the shortcut... checkpoint is near where I hit the fence on the spiral. You MUST go that far down, or the lap won't count. This sc exists in MK64, but in MKWii you do it differently. It was found by "PigeonIYI". My style of jump was found by "Roliation". They have youtube channels.
