Nick Herbert (Physicist-Author): American physicist, best known for his book "Quantum Reality".

After receiving his Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University, Herbert took on several posts, in both the academia and industry, the most illustrious of which was senior physicist at Memorex Corp., where developed new magnetic materials, as well as magnetic, electrostatic and optical measuring devices, plus theoretical work on Lorenz microscopy. He was also senior physicist at SCM where he deveoped a new theory of xerographic process.

He also held faculty position at Monmouth, Illinois, where he was assistant professor of physics at Monmouth College.

Here, Nick Herbert discusses psychedelics and consciousness in an interview with Andrew Rutajit.

  • It is unfortunate that people only realize these things only on these drugs. This can be accomplished with out drugs.

  • @MegaMaxemus Of course God could be realized without drugs, but if it takes a little push to get you out of the conditioning than so be it. Psychedelics woke me up and put me on the spiritual path, which right now for me is Yoga. Peace and blessings!

  • @SeekingSelf It ain't what it used to be 12+ years ago. Some day i would like to go back someday when i can get together $4k. Would like to learn more yoga. Don't trust people in the us to teach the real thing.
