Freaky RFID crap aside, if I pay for a bus pass I should be able to lend it to anyone. I mean I PAYED for it, it's not like more than one person can use it at a time.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

it is sure that all countries whom are in the UN, will find themselves in total enslavement by their own government through the use of controls on the populace...it IS happening to ALL of us...we need to fight back and write, call reps to let them know that a revolt WILL be the end result if they continue with their agenda....time to push back....NWO at work, folks!

Canada seems to a testing ground for what is going to happen here in the US
On the plus side, you can hack the RFID so that the "fare" is always 100% full. Pay once and keep it full for life. RFID is cool in that way because you can totally scam the big brother system.

By the way our new garbage and recycle bins have RFID chips in them as well. Can you imagine. They say it's incase your garbage bin gets stolen they can track it down. Like who is going to steal a grabage bin ? But it's a fact there is a chip in every garbage can and it has your name and address on it.

That's why I just throw all my garbage off my balcony.
j/k
btw, when I used to put my recycling bin outside at my old place, it would get stolen all the time by people who were too lazy to get their own bin from Eco Quartier.

Hi There
what's the danger of the OPUS RFID card? since it does not contain other sensitive info on individuals beside their picture?
RFID is dangerous when it contains lots of info on you.

The opus card in and of itself is not dangerous, it's the fact that it's part of a bigger picture moving toward consolidated widespread rfid/biometric data for every citizen - that is what i s disconcerting. Bank cards are now made with rfid. There is a patent on injectable rfid device to detect influenza. When all the individual pieces are in place, it will be integrated into one card, and the next step will be an implantable device.
