  • I'd love some tabs for this, if not I guess I'll just copy from the video...

  • i don't know how to send tabs, Fredrik, so her's some info on playing it - it's in D with the 6th string tuned down to low D, the only other chords are G and A - notice that the G chord needs 5th fret on string 6 to allow for the re-tuned string.. in the first part the thumb plays 'clawhammer' - that means it alternates between bass strings, and in the second part the tune is played on the bass strings and the fingers add 'little' chords where possible on the high strings. let me know - cont'd

  • Fredrik - continuing - let me know if you need any more info - and good luck with it - cheers from the uk - martin.

  • Fabulous rendition of a great tune. Thank you.

  • thanks for that, grendelrichard1, and i must agree it's a great tune and one which often pops into my head - cheers from the uk to brilliant bahrain - martin.

  • There is just something about this song. And the way you ply it. Simon Jeffes would have loved your rendition, I think. Still gives me goosebumps. Just love it.

  • i know what you mean and i agree - i played it on tape going down south with a great model to draw by the sea, and this adds to the music's effect even more - cheers from the uk - martin.

  • thanks for that, bigalli, and i'm sure you could soon work out this solo for yourself - it's got a down-tuned string 6 - to D - (as i'm sure you knew!) - keep posting your solos - cheers martin.
