Whats that then?

Whether youre a voluntary group, community group, youth group, faith group or even just doing your own thing, Tower Hamlets wants to hear from you about the best ways to bring our community together.

During the development of the boroughs new Community Plan, local residents talked about their desire to see One Tower Hamlets - a place where all sections of the community can live and work together.

As part of the governments Prevent agenda, which aims to promote cohesive communities and tackle violent extremism, the council has been allocated £1.3m over the next three years to help do this.

This is your chance to get involved. Tower Hamlets wants to hear your ideas. Suggested projects will focus on young people and women and ways of bringing the community together. A youth project, a community project, whatever it is, if youve got an idea on how we can bring our communities together to build One Tower Hamlets, we want to hear from you.
