Mesopotamia "land between the rivers" (Aramaic: ܒܝܬ ܢܗܪܝܢ "Bet Nahrain", Hebrew: ארם נהריים "Aram Naharaim", Arabic: بلاد الرافدين "Bilad Al-Rafidayn") is a name for the Tigris-Euphrates region in the eastern Mediterranean, largely corresponding to Iraq, as well as northeastern Syria, some parts of southeastern Turkey, and some parts of the Khūzestān Province of southwestern Iran.
Widely considered as the cradle of civilization, Bronze Age Mesopotamia included Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian empires. In the Iron Age, it was ruled by the Neo-Assyrian Empire and Neo-Babylonian Empire, and later conquered by the Achaemenid Empire. It mostly remained under Persian rule until the 7th century Islamic conquest of the Sassanid Empire.

  • Bahrein !! Thank you for that, you cunts!! Bahrein!!!!! Now I really know where Eden was, do you?

  • @213HERERRA

Bahrain is a speculation, this documentary does not represent all possible theories, but Bahrain is interesting, especially before the great flood of the Persian Gulf.

  • @Greyshark09 I personally think (doubt), that there was no sea on the territory of Persian Gulg, there was Eden. before the flood.

All 4 rivers which watered Eden according to bible, gather at the northern coast of Persian gulf. So, they watered Eden, and now they just feed the gulf. Don't ask me about 4 rivers, if you are interested I will pm you CEAR explanation

  • @213HERERRA

There is though an alternative of the Black Sea, which also was quite a "paradise" before the great flood in 5700BCE. Maybe both those events created a common mythology of the "great flood", which also can be found in other places across the globe. It reflects the period between 9000BCE and 5000BCE, when the glaciers were melting and the sea was rising rapidly.

i watched it because everything seemed sooo wel documented.

but at the end, they terminated it sooo weird...they should have terminated it talking about the Anunaki, not about adam..jeez...

  • thank you so much for uploading this :D

  • I think, there could have been more criticism of certain myths in the bible, because some were true, some not, for example, that there is neither proof of Salomo nor of Moses. But i found it interesting, how this documentary directed towards the cultural influences shaping the bible's mythology.
