(Lrrg) Finally i motivated myself to finally make a video of me playing bass with my new rickenbacker 4003 and here is the by-product.

@LiquidStampede Just bought an identical one, £1,600 in the UK ($2600) and that was as cheap as I could find one. Is that a Fender Precision in the background? I also have one of those. Regrettably, I'm not very good on either :-(

well, you can get a ric knock-off for pretty cheap, but that's more trouble than it's worth. This one was $1800 (the normal range it $1800-$2100). keep in mind that this is the 4003, not the 4001. They dont make the 4001's anymore, but there are still a lot of them in circulation (and they cost about the same amount). which one you want is up to you. some say that the 4001 sounds better, but i didnt want to take my chances with a piece of hardware from the 80's (could be broken).
