Relations don't seem to be improving at our household. The dog is almost a year old now and still not getting along with the cats. The cat's nails are clipped.

  • Aw, bored puppy needs a pal, ditch the angry fuzz lumps and get another doggy.

  • OMG. You should NEVER cut cat's nails!!!

  • If he's bored take him to a walk!!

  • @foxylady1984 maybe you have a different breed of cats than mine. Cause my cats have had no trouble at all with their claws.

  • @manchora My cats have four scratching posts and they use them all quite frequently. However, I still trim their nails monthly. When you can hear your cat's nails clicking on the tile floor when they're just walking, they've grown too long. Like I said, I've treated a cat with all its front nails grown into its pads due to owner neglect, and I'll drop dead before I let my babies experience the pain that cat went through.

  • @foxylady1984 All i am saying is let the cat to the trimming herself/himself. Get a scratch pole where your cat can trim itself. That is why cats scratch all the time, its to keep their claws is the best condition.

  • @bittieoh95 Clearly you know nothing about dogs if you think that ^^

  • @noobrider100 You want to train a dog to not want to play......riiiiiiiiiiiight....who wouldn't want that......>.>

  • @manchora You are an idiot. Trimming your cat's nails is no worse than trimming your own nails. I don't suppose you'd be willing to treat a cat whose nails have grown into its pads? I have, and it's not pretty. Believe me, they can defend themselves just fine with clipped nails.

  • lol 7 months later...husky and cat still at it
