Right,so Meredith is trying to take a bomb out of a patient's body, Miranda Bailey is giving birth to her son and Derek is performing brain surgery on Bailey's husband after he was in a car crash on the way to the hospital to be with his wife...whew!

This was the very first episode of Grey's that I ever watched. I believe it was after an NFC championship game or after a Super Bowl or something?? The bomb scene, I remember thinking wow this show rocks...then they had like two weeks without a new episode after this one and I sort of phased out.
