  • Heres what I did....

    My main blades are 425mm. Go max pitch, measure distance between two blade tips. Measure again. Go max negative pitch, measure distance between two blade grips, measure again. This number on my heli was 180mm +/-3mm. Divide by two, this gives you the "opposite" side where the length of the main blade is the hypotenuse.

    SOH CAH TOA - We use Opposite over Hypotenuse. (180/2) / 425 = 0.2118

    Sine-1 0.2118 = 12.2 degrees. Perfect (manual states 12-14 degrees required)
