Think Humanity, Beth Heckel interviews Acholi Grace Ayaa about the IDP camp

Here I describe how women make .20 to fill each gerry can with broken up rocks from the rock quarry in the Acholi Quarter near Kampala, Uganda. Grace describes the situation in Northern Uganda and South Sudan and how the jewelry is their way to be self-sustainable. The rock quarry is nearly depleted and soon they will have to depend on selling products that we buy from them so that their children can go to school and they can purchase food.
