It's so much faster to sew with a machine! Plus if you have it threaded all the time [like I'm starting a doll dress prject which requites ONLY white thread] then is so much easier! I tried sewing the dress by hand and it's taking FOREVER. I'm so glad I got a brand new sewing machine for christmas!!! Thank you my dear friend for getting me one!!!! <3

This is the EXACT reason I do not sew with a machine. COMPLICATED. :) Gonna master this one day.

I'm trying to use this exact machine at the craft center but for some reason I've messed up threading the bobbin. What is the desired result from lowering/raising the needle? Sometimes the top thread is stuck in the bobbin, sometimes the lower thread comes out and entwines with the top thread, but both cases I get this mess of thread at the bottom of the cloth when I sew :(

@GTCraftCtr,
Is there a way U could do this video over from the beginning...i.e. how to insert the bobbin spool into the silver casing & what happens after that step by step??? Im considering purchasing a Singer Traditional 2227 but the front load bobbin system is a very intimidating. Thanks
