yeah i know this is old but you are confusing as hell and nissan is putting out (or was for longer than the 2jz supra) an engine that spanks the 2jz's ass its called the RB26...

Why is everyone arguing about cars and not the quality of this shitty camerawork.... Take this useless crap down, might as well be a slideshow

Not really, anything over 300HP for the early L-engines is going to become extremely cost prohibitive. And people mentioning the RB26 need to realize that it doesn't exactly grow on trees, especially in the States. The ones that are around are probably in a Skyline which is worth more anyhow. Why spend 10 grand for a motor when you can spend half that and get more power, reliability, and standardized parts scattered everywhere?

@richielx the stock l28 has plenty of power when modded plus that z would be faster with a inline 6 RB series or a 2JZ... i say fuck a V8 but thats just me.....

nothin looks better than the slick look of the trans am or camaro....the z looks good as well though
-
yup the Z is a better looking car by far, atleast it looks like they put some art into it rather the chevy is just to plain
-
are you on drugs buddy?
Someone got offended.
A few of the American car design was inspired by Japanese automobiles from the 50's and 70's. You can ask any car enthusiast. Just where do you think Fender flares from the corvette came from?
You're missing the real point where this car was made in the 60's and has enough power to smoke a once powerful for it's time modern pontiac.
Not everyone drives a civic btw teater.

must say once again, the Z has a v8 chevy engine, thats why its so powerful.. so there's no real point
