La Rochelle

A few holiday snaps from a school trip to La Rochelle. Places featured are Zoo de la Palmyre, a lighthouse on the Ile de Re, La Rochelle itself and Il d'Oleron. The reason for the backing track (The Lion Sleeps Tonight-Lebo M) is because that was the song my friend Josh (white hair) played incessantly on his mobile.

Apologies for the misleading title - the school trip was based in La Rochelle but the photos were mainly taken elsewhere. You're very lucky to live in this beautiful town!

Well I suppose for me being in a very younge city, with millions of people, i am not used of having to be in such a small city. Maybe because I have only been here in the winter. So please tell me it will be better in the Summer.

And there is no compares possible between la rochelle and sydney ! La Rochelle is 1000 years old, what about Sydney ? La Rochelle is a little city and sidney just a place with millions of unhabitants...

How do you dare to say that ? this is not a battle, of course you always find better, I can assure you every foreign students i host in my home for weeks or months are enchanted by their trip in this city ;)

umm hi,

I am on Exchange in La Rochelle from sydney, Australia, and La Rochelle is not good at all it is boring and not much to do at all. and i am stuck in this boring city for 10 months. Sydney is soooooo much better. so no you are not lucky you just must have a very boring life.
