My best friend, Tori is currently in need of a double lung transplant. She's had a rare lung disease called non-specific interstitial pneumonitis since she was about 11, she's 17 right now. She's been on oxygen for about a year and her health has recently been getting progressively worse. She's been in the hospital since before Christmas. All we're waiting for is a pair of lungs. I wish you luck on your journey in getting yours and I hope this raises awareness about becoming an organ donor.<3

@MachinePolitics we'll your two cents are wrong... just saying. Helene has less than a quarter of her lung capacity. If you knew her, then you would know that Helene acts positive and tries not to let the fact that she can't breathe well show. She gives everything her all, and gives many people hope. Helene is just being Helene, so don't be hating. just cause she doesn't look like your cousin doesn't mean she isn't sick.
