Seven is the best character in Star Trek...and in the end she only gets Chakotay; she is far too good for him

this part of the episode made me like voyager

That's the point isn't it? A drone desires nothing, feels nothing, believes nothing, wants nothing, even the collective itself says that a singular drone is meaningless. There is no you or I in the collective, just the collective. That isn't a life, cause there is no personality in the drone to live it.

You mean the Voyager Crew, loldragoon.

i like how the guard in the background just stands there when she hit janeway like that at the end.

so all people are manipulated in your opinion becouse they get some patterns of behaviour when they are children; Seven has been manipulated by Enterprise crew, they make her brainwashed; Tuvok was right - humans are so disgusting with their desire to state what is proper for someone and what is not

That idiot can't imagine that the drone life can be prefered by someone than the life of a ordinary human. For me, it is disgusting.
You're so right. That was such a touching scene. The Seven character was the best ever on trek. But she's only ever at her best with Janeway. Those two are great together. I love the one at the end of the Voyager Conspiracy, where Janeway appeals to Seven to come back to Voyager. "All I'm asking is that you trust me again." Great scene.

Eh, she was forced to become a mindless cyborg zombie at the age of six. Her parents ripped away, her personality stripped and deemed irrelevant. In the Borg the individual is meaningless. How the hell else was she supposed to survive on Voyager? A drone has no more a sense of self than a really fancy screwdriver. Is that the life you think she should have had? At the end of the show, that character had grown into the best there ever had been on Trek.
