MY ZOOM MODEM (which I can't use now because my new Internets needs a different one) LASTED FOR OVER A YEAR, AND IT STILL WORKS, AND YOU BROKE IN 5 DAYS? HOLY *snip*. Then again, I called and they said they were having problems with that model, so they sent me out a new one (it better not be the same version or I'm going to scream), and it will be here on either Thursday or Friday. When that day comes, trust me -- major lulz will be had and the "over 9000!" will become a real possibility.
