Hmm... Dark Horse, is that the British one from the Sheffield microbrewery?
I only recently first came into contact with Black Albert and to be honest it was quite shocking to the Belgian pallet. They do a fantastic job at De Struise, they're one of precious few breweries over here that take modernised brewering to the next level.

Aww man, I have a bottle of this sitting in my fridge right now, just waiting until my snifter arrives in the mail next week before cracking it open. Awesome review, although it just makes me want to go ahead and pour it already!

De Struise Brouwers are (by my opinion) the best brewers of Belgium.
I started eventually to try all Belgian beers (about 1200 beers).
But after tasting the beers from the Struise, I stopped with tasting all the beers, and stuck with beers from the Struise.
You should definately try the entire Black Damnation series, very very tastefull stouts.

I don't think I have any lined up at the moment, but I do have something sorta similar to that planned for my big 50th review coming up in a couple weeks.

Great review! I realy wanna try some more De Struise, i had the rare Tsjeeses Reserva which was AMAZING!!! Cheers!!
