@UTURN8888 I'm honored that you said that, but JDF is light years ahead of anybody playing a B-3. I just hope he cuts down a little bit on the pasta because I enjoy his playing too much for him to pack it in before his time. I can play, but Joey's got TALENT.

Keep it comin! You.ve got a great Joey D. thing goin there!

@UTURN8888 Wow, Thank you very much. I do what I can to keep the B-# sound alive.

My Hearts delight to hear "Sweet Lorraine" done on the Hammond B3. Like the playing style and set up. Thanks so much. Would you also do "Darling Lorraine" made famous by the Knockouts in the 50's on the B3.? This tune has never been played on
the Hammond. Oh how I would love to hear it done on the Hammond.
Thanks
Lorraine

@lorrydienno An actual Lorraine? Wow, that's a first for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'll have to research "Darling Lorraine", it's a song I don't know.
Thanks for the wonderful comments and the lead on a new (for me) song.

Lost my last comment due to the video going to the next tune. All of the best comments here are true so ditto to all. BTW this tune brought my PB down to a nice spot. Thanks.

@Grosflute Many thanks for the kind remarks. Playing brings my BP down as well and I never seem to tire of it.

@UTURN8888 As great as he is, we both still pay homage to the pioneers: Wild Bill Davis, Jimmy Smith, Richard "Groove" Holmes, Jack McDuff, and even earlier, "Fats" Waller and Count Basie. And if it wasn't for Laurens Hammond and Don Leslie, this page wouldn't exist!
Hammonds Forever!
