in Bad Taste 2, the heroes of the first film would travel to an alien planet to save alien hunter Derek, played by Jackson. In Bad Taste 3 the aliens plan to enact revenge on Wellington with "a spectacular aerial battle over the city with dozens of flying houses, buzzy bees and Santa Claus".
Peter Jackson told a New Zealand newspaper The Dominion Post he is still interested in making a sequel of the movie.

@ianpits96 for the moment nothing has been confirmed, that sequel, peter jackson the intention of rolling tube two sequels in 1994, but then I quit.

peter jackson yet announced a game for the Xbox 360 platform that functions as a sequel because it shows the adventures of derek and the boys after derek came to the alien planet.

Unfortunately the game does not come out yet.

haha badtaste 2 would be funny as hell, Derek returns back to earth, now he is old and doesn't realize he brought this green blob thing on back of his head feeding off his brain, it jumps off his head lays eggs which grow and then shit starts up again and it's up to the sons of the original squad to defeat em >:D
