Brian, this is great. I'm so glad for you.  As the mother of a son who is having the same addiction problems, I wish he could see what you have gone through and maybe change his life. It's really hard as a parent to watch your child dying like that.

Im in public school and im doing a book report on him, and im making sure i put as much Jesus i can in there :) Hopefully i can reach out to the athiest Metal Heads at school. :]

I love you brian. i wish i could understand where you people that say God is imaginary is coming from but i don't but i completely respect your beliefs and pray for you often (yes i dont know you but i pray for you) but my beliefs are that of brians I dont need a religion I have Jesus and thats all i need i dont need medication or doctors for one i dont like feeling like i have to depend on medication i would rather depend on what you call "imaginary God" anyways just my thoughts

Learn to think for yourselves. It's called will power, you should look into it sometime. He was a f*cking self loathing dope head who thought he felt the embrace of an imaginary presence when he was high out of his mind. You can get professional help for addictions like this and if you dont have medical insurance, there are programs that are free or cost next to nothing. Bible stories were written before they knew what an atom was or that other planets existed. False hope for the weak minded.
