@fiddlinshim Yes, Robbie is your man ..listen for the melodic treatment of the 2nd reel 'My Love is in America' great musical sense ...a bit slower would help to bring this out more for the non trad specialist ...it might also help other people to listen a bit more careully to the music.
Brilliant and masterful playing. Too fast for my taste, but it's his taste that matters here. The smooth flow of the music is marvelous, and he's beyond criticism.
Of all the instruments associated with Irish music, this one is my favorite. Tin whistle is next. Strange looking thing it is - reminds me of an alchemist's lab or a still. The sound is incredible - at least to my ears.
Is this guy just the best?
