Event commemorating the death of Scottish patriot William Wallace. ( Mel Gibson's Braveheart )
Wallace was born in the village of Elderslie a few miles from the town of Paisley.
Every year a march is held and a wreath is laid in his memory .
Ex-patriot Scots come from all over the world and this year the wreath was laid by a lady from Florida in the U.S.A.

  • I am glad that you enjoyed it.

  • I am almost finished on to day's video of the 2011 march, so I will render it to morrow Sunday and it should be available early afternoon London Time.

I think that there were more people at Saturday's march than ever before as the weather was fairly good.
