I am in love with this album! I used Tim Holtz’s 5”x7” Tabbed Grungebook as the base and decorated it with all kinds of goodies from the Cosmo Cricket Snorkel line. I had so much fun working with this album! Please visit http://thescrapbeach.blogspot.com/ for more inspiration!

  • I have never attempted to do any embossing. I find the embossing gun plus the embossing product a bit expensive and was wondering if a hair dryer would produce a similar effect. If I would like it I would be more apt to consider buying it....after all Christmas is coming!

  • @craftygrandma56 A hair dryer is not hot enough & the air blows too hard, so all it would do is blow the embossing powder everywhere. You could very carefully & with extreme caution, hold paper with embossing powder over a toaster to melt it if you wanted to give it a try. Or maybe go to your local scrapbook store and ask them if they could give you a demo.

  • Hello, luv the videos and the great ideas. What was the glue you used again?

  • I use different kinds of glue in my videos/scrapping. If you're talking about a liquid glue, it was most likely Ranger's "Glossy Accents" and if you're talking about the big tape runner, that is the Scotch ATG 700 by 3M and the adhesive refills I use are the Scotch 908 Gold by 3M.

I was afraid of that ....well thanks for the info...the toaster seems a little extreme seeing that our fire alarm goes off when we make toast!!! LOL!!! (It's sensitive)

  • Thanks! Yes, the lint roller makes cleaning up fine things like glitter and embossing powder every easy! Plus, they're cheap!

Thanks for watching ~ I hope you enjoyed the video!

  • The lint roller is a great idea for cleanup! :)

  • Thank you so much ~ I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
