I have fished for trout for over 30 years so don't tell me its my technique. In all the many colors of trout magnets that I have tried... I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT A TROUT ON TROUT MAGNETS. In our part of the country its BERKELY, YAKIMA, PANTHER MARTIN ETC. You never hear of a success story with trout magnets. Not being mean or negative I'm just stating a sportsman to sportsman fact.

I understand that in some areas the Trout Magnet can be difficult to use. In most areas it will not be beat. The April 2010 Field and Stream issue listed the Trout Magnet in their top 30 classic lures. It was the only trout lure on the list too.

The baits you mentioned will never out fish the TM on our river. I fish around those lures and baits daily & they watch me, catch more fish.

I would still like to know where you are fishing & the types of waters you are fishing on.
