93 Year Old Woman Arrested for Cocaine Possesion - WITN

A 93-year-old woman will spend the next three years on probation for possessing cocaine.

Helen Taylor made the plea deal in Pitt County court yesterday.

Deputies say they arrested the woman back in 2005 after finding 15 units of crack cocaine in her home. She was originally indicted charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for distribution of a controlled substance.

The judge gave the woman unsupervised probation instead of sending her to prison for the next six to eight months.
