My PC has 2 GB or RAM but the upgrade advisor tells me I really have 1.8 GB. You need a total of 2 GB to run XP mode. Can my PC run XP mode? Reason I'm asking is b/c I heard that Vista downgrades your hardware and I'm running Vista Home Basic.

wait so say i have a mac and i want to instal windows vista. does it give me the software for windows vista or do i have to buy it?

@FlorinProductions No it gives you the software. Just put your Mac OS installation CD in (while Vista is running) and just install the drivers from the CD.

this is a very usefull tip for windows 7 user, but the website says that you need windows 7 enterprise in order to get the application... i doesn't let me download it. My computer comes with 7 home premiun, it doesn't work with vista or xp, How can I download 7 enterprise? (any idea?)

@juggernaut936 @juggernaut936 as far as I know windows 7 enterprise is for companys and Virtual XP will only work on Enterpryse and Ultimate. It wont work with home premium. And Enterprise and Ultimate is the same OS just with different names for all I know.
