i thought jane was pretty in this version and the actors were all amazing. this is my favourite adaptation of jane eyre :3

Love the music and is very well acted... The actress who plays Bertha is perfect, the thing is Rochester should be holding Jane's hand on the way to the hall from the church. That annoys me they omitted that!!

He looks older than 40. I used to love this film, but after the BBC adaptation -- and the magnificent Toby Stephens -- I just can't warm up to this version anymore.

In the book version Bertha and Mr. Rochester have this wrestling combat, which I thought they were going to show instead of him saying stuff like: "this is my wife and she is mad...blah blah..." I thought they rushed the explaination of Mr. Rochester's chaarcter.
