@vinyl12s Where I live, the evidence of a cookie cutter is most prevalent at 105FM in Denver, once a station that was devoted to 50's, 60's, and later 70's music now only claims to be the same oldies station but seems to have a music format no different from classic rock.
@WaxBadger Man you are dead on..80's R&B on old school classic R&B stations, 80's rock on classic rock stations. What about those "in between" hits that don't fit into their "cookie cutter" playlists? Thats where we come in :)
@vinyl12s Yeah, I know. It's hard to think how 1980's music will keep it's place on the radio. Anymore music from that decade is floating largely on DJ-less multi-hit stations. Anymore, it seems like it has to be worthy of the classic rock genre for any 80's music to get aired on a good station.
