"It has been suggested that Joseph Smith intended the Gadianton robbers as an allusion to the Freemasons.[7] The description of the robbers, who claim to be a secret society whose works are good, but who are actually deeply involved in conspiracy and organized crime, are consistent with anti-Masonic caricatures prevalent in Smith's time. It has been said[citation needed] that this allusion to Freemasonry is tied to the Anti-Masonic Movement which began in 1826, following the William Morgan Affair."

WE don't call it magic, anti-Mormons do.
And we don't keep the temple work secret, we just dont give what is holy to the dogs, and our pearls to the swine.
And only swine would ask anyone to show them their underwear.

"WE don't call it magic, anti-Mormons do... And only swine would ask anyone to show them their underwear."
I wish Mormons would read the comments before making their own, there are recent comments discussing these same topics.
"And we don't keep the temple work secret, we just dont give what is holy to the dogs, & our pearls to the swine."
Mormons don't keep secrets, yet you cite scripture justifying keeping them.. Also, anyone questioning masonic symbols in Mormonism is "anti-Mormon"?

Aleister Crowley has nothing to do with "Mormonism" and what they "Think" of him, I had to go read about him, and nobody I asked had ever heard of him except two people who both thought he was a Satanist, He experimented with drugs, WE DON'T! He did a lot of things we don't believe it, so therefore there is no "Connection". As for Mormonism's relation to occultic symbols in freemasonry. Again I ask, "occultic"? "Occultic" is a nice word to give a "Evil" appearance. Nice manipulation Word!

@Mahonrimoriancumur: re: "(Aleister Crowley) did a lot of things we don't believe it, so therefore there is no 'Connection'."
Yes, there was, for Aleister Crowley was heavily involved in Freemasonry, according to an official Masonic website at least[1]!
re: "Again I ask, 'occultic'?"
Why do you say "Again I ask..", when this is the first time you have even asked me this question?
re: "'Occultic' is a nice word to give a(n) 'Evil' appearance. Nice manipulation Word!" (cont..)

The Mormon "Freemason" connection? Most of our countries FOUNDING FATHERS were these so called labeled "Horrible Freemasons", well if George Washington, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and many others were the "Type" to be connected to Freemasonry, it speaks volumes about the institution of freemasonry and what it must represent! A Priest who wears his collar and a Jew wearing his Yamacha are reminded of God by certain elements of the collar and the yamacha, Just as we who are LDS.

Yes, I know. Did you know about their connection to the occult symbols incorporated into Washington D.C. architecture?
