  • wtf was that? a burning building??

    For whoever hates critical mass.

Try riding in it one time, its alot of fun.

I am surprised you only have 40 riders for all of new york.

San Diego's was around 300 for april 07.

Keep up the good work and keep filming =)

  • yeah, sort of sad what NYC has devolved to... i was on the west coast last year and did Santa Monica C mass and there were 800 people... and LA area appears to have a critical mass every weekend ( who knew, LA !?)

In NY we at least we do also have Brooklyn C Mass which is still unmolested... ( 2nd friday of month)

Hope everyone COMES BACK to NYC MASS... especially when its Warmer... the police now at least seem to ticket now, and only for not having a Bell/ lights... so u can avoid tix! c ya

  • If something as simple as a "Subway start" was enough to make it not worth it to follow us ( remember that not long ago they had blimps and helicopters after us..) maybe they will back off if we stop making so easy for them ( easy=predictable ), wishful thinking MAYBE , but why not treat ourselves to some optimism !?!?!?! --- chris/TS

  • thanks for all the positive feedback...

glad to represent / share for all those who couldn't be there!

it was truly fun, a flashback to the heyday,,,, ( 'till i got a flat tire & broken derailer, but Scott from Peekskill abandoned the ride to get me set back up... talk about a strong / excellent community.;-) )

  • "i'm just saying just because the government claims that it is illegal, does not mean that it is wrong."

think for your self or we will all be screwed.

  • @sandiegomitch its illegal, I will just continue to ride my bike legally.

  • @BestTits i'm just saying just because the government claims that it is illegal, does not mean that it is wrong.

  • @sandiegomitch blowing stop signs is not the American revolution come on now

  • @BestTits stand up for what you want, and stop being a sheep. The american revolution was not legal, Rosa Parks sat in the front, and there are millions more, from huge wars down to stuff such as running a stop sign on your bike when it is clear.

And this comment is 3 years old by the way, watch what your digging up.

  • @sandiegomitch its illegal no thanks, I will just continue to ride my bike legally

  • So I thought they wanted to be regarded as traffic just like cars and buses, ect. Then why would they run onto a subway train to escape the police after they commit their crimes

  • aw, don't sweat it romeo. if we created a problem for you, it was probably towards the end of the ride when we were struggling still to stay together. that's the only instance i've seen us run red lights - when half the group is already through one. honestly, there are typically too many cops for it to be any other way
