For all you puzzle builders, what method do you prefer to use for building puzzles? Casting, 3D printing, or both? How about hand making your puzzles like Tony Fisher? Let me know in the comments :)

  • 3d printing is what Oskar van deventor uses, i dont really build puzzles though. idk oskar is an amazing puzzle builder and he uses 3d printing

  • @Mrstreetballer97 Yes, he does. But his puzzles are mostly just for prototyping to see if a concept works. Plus, they are made practically every week or so. There would be no time to cast all of his puzzles anyway, and so in that case 3D printing is the cheaper and better solution.

  • Ok so the only down side to 3d printing till recently has been that the surface was a little bit rough. Now with the polished material and breaking in part of the process is removed as well. And so the noise is of another charater now. Much nicer! so there you have it. I am deffinatly voting for SLS 3d printing.

  • I make my puzzles from poop

  • I buy them at the store.

No, just kidding. I don't build puzzles.
