I just LOVE that you caught the original Jack Wagner closing announcement...haven't heard that in years: "Walt Disney World's MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE!" Thanks for sharing this and part 1. Greatest parade in history.

Jack Wagner died in 1995 after retiring 2 years before.

@Dragonrider1227 The Pinocchio float was removed in around 1983-ish...I think...well I have a tape from 1982 and a tape from 1985 and the first has the Pinocchio and the second doesn't....and another source says it was removed in 1983.

they never had it, till now.

Actually, WDW had a Pinocchio float at one point (the Underwater version) but it was removed in the early 1980s for unknown reasons, around the same time it was replaced in Disneyland with the Pleasure Island Pinocchio.

Wherever it is, bring it back.

Yes, Disneyland was first, however Disney's California Adventure was MUCH later. Well after Walt Disney World. I think they developed DCA as a place to put things from WDW that wouldn't fit in Disneyland's main area (Stuff from the MGM studio or Epcot so to speak.)

Is it me or is the "new" way they do things now with the singing and commentary during their "new way" parades somewhat anoying?
I miss it when it was fun like this electrical parade.

Dragonrider1227 is correct. WDW never had a Pinnochio float. That was unique to Disneyland CA.
this is so AMAZING! Classic...they don't even have the It's A Small World float anymore! I'm guessing you had to stop the tape on the Dumbo and Pinnochio floats though; too bad I really wanted to see Pinochio because that was dismantled too. Thanks for uploading!

We never stopped the tape when recording this. I don't think there was a Pinnochio float
