It's not Mitchell and Petrillo either. Yhis song was produced by Bob and Tom.

This is fantastic!

If I remember correctly this is 2 impersonators of Martin & Lewis named Duke Mitchell and Sammy Petrillo. I believe they were from England.

Another point is the vibrato that Mark Much does fluctuates much more than Jerry Lewis did early in their careers. Not to say that the original is invalidated, nor anything about "Blue" comedy, but don't say I am wrong when I have my facts correct with this version. This version should not be billed as a Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis authentic recording, because it just isn't. Sorry. I'd clear this up before posting it's authentic to avoid any possible removal due to copyright infringements made.

Whomever told you this was authentic Martin & Lewis early in their careers hooked you good. First, Dean Martin did not pronounce his "R"s as harshly as Ricky Rydell does in this version, as Rydell is from Indiana, whose regional dialect inflects that consonant. Another giveaway is clarity of the version posted. To clean up the distortion from analog recording in those days it would be to challenging, whereas this version was recorded direct digitally and remastered.

You can find the cover here: watch?v=cieFmcOqiUY
Listen to each one carefully, and you can tell the difference...this one is the original.

This is the original, not Bob and Tom's "cover" however. Just because someone else has sung it doesn't invalidate the original.

You would be very VERY wrong. Blue Comedy, particularly numbers which could be "explained away", are quite common in this era and even earlier (Check out just about anything sung by Ruth Wallis) - Believe it or not, this kind of thing goes back at least as far as William Shakespeare (Who was VERY fond of penis humor in disguise)
The singers here are, in fact, Jerry Martin and Dean Martin. It's early in their careers, which is why you might think their voices sound different.

This was from a Bob and Tom CD they produced from their show, which also benefits the Gleaners Food Banks in Indiana as the show is based out of Indianapolis. The website may have copies available as this is a rarity. The artist is Ricky Rydell, who does both voices, although when performed live by the Bob and Tom Almost All Star Band it is performed by Rydell as Dean and Tom as Jerry's voice.

Dean would have loved it.
Glad you liked it!

I tend to agree with the previous comments; first, the voices are close, but definetely not theirs; 2. the couple was a bit on the conservative side and would never appeal to such low tricks... well, that's that; a good controversy started... maybe you do not know the real meaning of 'blow me'. FYI a 'blow job' is an act of fellatio.
