this is not a child with the 1st type or Type I. This is a Type IV kid that never got Pamidronate and used braces to be able to walk. I have two children that are Type III/IV and one runs/jumps and is a normal 8 year old that is a little small and the other walks with a walker*(also age 8). Rods and bisphosphonates are changing the face of OI. It is not the worst disorder to have. There are plenty of worse things you could have. Great treatment Montreal and Omaha.

yeah man this disease sucks.
the thing is there showing a girl with the first type of the disorder. i have type IV which is much more severe. ive had more than 80 fractures and 15 surguries.

Hey...I have this condition...and I tell you...its one of the worst conditions you can ever have. I have had countless number of fractures!. I am recently learning to walk, so that is a big step for me! =)
