@117eugene Please then define people who plan and target defenceless un-armed civilians for execution! I think you will find that you are talking shite!

the I.R.A are NOT terriorst

Fantastic, well done. There was great jubilation around the camps of the British Army that night. They got what they deserved.
-
The innocent motorist who was killed was NOT caught in the crossfire. They shot him and his brother (who survived). Watch or read Peter Taylor's 'BRITS'. He interviews the man. He was never issued with an apology.

@gkz87 Your right fella the IRA was riddled with touts up to the highest level, even on the table of the Army council, the British brought the IRA down from within and forces a ceasefire,a force of 10,000 volenteers in the 70,s reduced to just 500 hardcore members by the 90's ,that parnoid about informers that it killed more of thier own members than the big bad British, forced to mount mostly small scale attacks in small cells,WHEN THE MONEY STARTS COMING THE CAUSE STARTS RUNNING lol

without touts the sas/ruc/udr were nothing. any successful attacks on the ira were all arranged around informers paid by the state. simple sas etc are dumbasses lol

Ran like dogs when the SAS starting giving them a few bullets!

War is never one on one. The unit was on active service so their deaths were justifiable. The IRA did not cry about it. The informer who betrayed them was shot dead in 2009. The SAS also murdered an innocent man who happened to be driving near the scene. The despicable element of this incident was that a government official claimed falsely that this man had nine boiler-suits in the boot of his car. Was anyone really surprised the British government also lied about Jean Charles de Menezes.
The IRA talked about a "war" and then went crying to the European Court of Human Rights when this happened. Bunch of babies
