"Communism Vs. Capitalism" Gov Class Project

For our Government/Economics class, we had to make a project comparing & contrasting Communism and Capitalism, while answering three provided questions. So my group did a video project; we grabbed a camera, and interviewed people on the Streets of downtown Oakland around our school. We got some interesting responses.

I find it quite amazing that a LOT of americans seem to think that even whent hey were THE richest country in the world, that they couldnt afford ANY socialist ideals, like HEALTHCARE !

In fact, free healthcare seems to be the most hated thing in america.

Let me tell you, americans - in england, NO ONE ever pays, if they break a leg, and spend 2 weeks in hospital !

You get better hospitals if you can pay, but the NHS is still VERY good !

America has its values in its pocket !

in capitalism, the people with money rule and can screw you over.

in communism, everybody is equal, noone is rich or poor, all money goes to the government, and the prolateriate is important to them

We all have the freedom in America to become wealthy, remember the Constitution says we all have the right to the Pursuit of Happiness, not that we will be given money from the government to sit around and do nothing! If you want make alot of money you have to work hard for it! God Bless America!
