Incredible stuff. But some of it seemed a little too forced. Why don't they start with individual notes, first? Then...let the elephants compose on their own. If the elephants are really into it(i.e. not bored), I don't think the humans will have to tell them what to do and when to do it. I'm just not sure what they are trying to do here.

wish that the elephant 'handlers' weren't making them play sometimes. looks like half the time the elephants wanted to play and liked it, and half the time were being cajoled...
Very cool. I suspect that these Midi triggers could be hooked up to wind chimes and you would get nearly the same result. It could be that random and sound pretty much the same. You could have gold fish breaking light beams to trigger Midi.
a lot of sounds are creepy like from a horor movie.
