In the relationship with God, man is born again, accepting life as a gift from the Father in heaven. And faith in God is based on Jesus who has revealed the Father.
This was the point underlined by the Pope speaking to the faithful before the Angelus prayer on Sunday. Earlier in the morning the Pope had baptized 16 children and during the Angelus he noted how God became man and man becomes a child of God. The Holy Father added, that we must renew the joy of being children, born again by God's love through Baptism and through the work of Mary.
