@profborat Wrong. Do your homework. Our digestive systems and teeth are that of omnivores. Animals like cows are meant to consume plants only and you can tell because they have the four stomachs required to digest plant material. We evolved over millions of years to eat meat, and only started eating grains very very recently in our history. Humans are smaller and weaker since we adopted the reliance on grains.

This is terrible...yea lets take these natural, whole foods out of your home and replace them with heavily processed soy products. That is not the path to health, people. Look at a soy bean and then look at these fake meat pieces. Can you even imagine the processing required to turn one into the other? Disgusting. Eat whole foods, it's that simple.

@chickenbuttguesswhat Humans are designed to consume a plant based diet only. Just compare our physiology with that of carnivores and omnivores and the facts are right there! :o) Animals are sacred, we should care about them, not kill and exploit them don't you think?

I know the feeling.
When you're raised eating certain flavorful foods, you develop and addiction to the flavor.
For people with good self discipline, this is only a problem for a short time after dropping animal products.
For people with poor self discipline, it can be harder to kick the addiction.
Fortunately, those flavors that we crave are primarily produced with fat, salt and other seasonings, so there has been excellent progress in replicating them.

We have been brainwashed by the meat and dairy industries into believing we cannot lead healthy lives without these foods. It simply isn't true. People need to go into a vegan diet with knowledge and understanding. If done properly, there is no reason anyone cannot lead a healthy life on a vegan diet. Humans were designed to eat a mainly plant based diet. We are only meant to eat meat when plants are not readily available.
